Foundation Luncheon Celebrates Financial Education, Raises Record Funds

The CrossState Credit Union Foundation hosted a full house at the 2025 Leaders in Financial Literacy Awards Luncheon, presented by Members 1st Federal Credit Union during Connect 2025. More than 225 attendees came together to celebrate outstanding financial education initiatives and support the Foundation’s mission.

In addition to honoring this year’s five award winners, the luncheon served as a powerful fundraiser—raising a record-breaking $57,500 to help the Foundation continue its work with credit unions across New Jersey and Pennsylvania! Special thanks to our generous sponsors, luncheon guests, and everyone who contributed to the always-popular basket raffle. A sincere thank you as well to Alloya Corporate for its raffle match, which helped elevate the impact.

The celebration didn’t end there—attendees also packed the room for the Foundation’s Financial Education Panel, sponsored by Visa, which spotlighted last year’s award winners. Panelists shared insights on their programs and engaged in thoughtful Q&A with the audience.
