Hope in Action: Celebrating People Helping People

The CrossState Credit Union Foundation has long been a pillar of the CrossState organization, celebrating and supporting credit unions and their communities with heartfelt recognition. To continue that cooperative spirit, we are excited to announce a new initiative: Hope in Action.

The program creates opportunities to recognize the people doing the work for our communities—your colleagues, volunteers, leaders, and friends at your credit union. These individuals are the magic that makes members feel welcome and more confident in their financial goals. Whether it’s helping at a local event or teaching a financial literacy program, they inspire hope through their efforts.

Hope in Action is the perfect way to honor someone who embodies the “people helping people” philosophy. Donations can be of any size, and each honoree receives a special card to proudly display on their desk, publicly celebrating their commitment to our shared values. This visible recognition not only boosts individual morale but also reinforces our collective mission and inspires others.

In addition, there is a premium tier called the “Hope in Action Legend.” This designation is reserved for donations of $1,000 or more, given in either a single gift or multiple gifts for one person. Legends will receive a special framed card, earn a listing on the Hope in Action web page, and be recognized in our CrossState Daily newsletter. Funds raised through the Hope in Action program will directly support credit union education and community programs. We encourage you to explore more about this program and share it with your Board and team, helping to make it a cornerstone of our organization’s culture of giving and recognition.
