Chief Operating Officer — XCEL Federal Credit Union

XCEL Federal Credit Union, a $ 200 million financial institution located in Bloomfield, NJ is seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer to join our team.

The Chief Operating Officer will report directly to the CEO and will lead our credit union team as they work in the best interest of our members and provide solutions to help them achieve financial success. The COO is a member of the senior management team and will collaborate with others on the XCEL Federal Credit Union team to drive the strategic initiatives of the organization.

The COO will provide leadership for the lending, member services, compliance, business development, call center and operations departments. The successful candidate will have the ability to motivate and coach employees to ensure that credit union short- and long-term operational goals are attained.

The COO is also responsible for the investigation, recommendation and development of new products and services to enhance Credit Union operations.

Qualified candidates must have five to ten years’ experience in the financial services industry; credit union industry experience is preferred. A college degree or equivalent education and experience is required.
