Business Analyst – United Teletech Financial FCU

Purpose

Acts as a business analyst in the IS unit, providing analysis of product usage and trends, assessing and recommending improvements to end user experience, supporting project management, integration coordination of various projects across department units.    Provides an excellent member experience with a sense of urgency, speed and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Will provide data mining and use of excel for providing analysis.
  • Provide report design, specific to business analysis for reports requested, report preparation, automation of reports.
  • Assists branch leadership in the oversight and day to day management of the credit union’s ODP program.
  • Own and develop relationship with partners, working with them to optimize and enhance our integration
  • Help design, document, and maintain system processes
  • Provide best practice solutions to dashboard preparation, maintenance
  • Drive problem resolution including determine root cause, scope and scale of issues as it pertains to web applications.  Must be able to understand software development process to understand behavior of software execution and able to understand reverse engineering to identify root cause.
  • Work with the business lines to resolve issues with supported business applications, implement upgrades and new releases, and assist in the evaluation of proposed solutions
  • Prepare test scenarios for user acceptance testing and support with testing.
  • Maintain departmental documentation for application processes and project management.
  • Understands departmental profitability model and strategies to affect results.

General Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrate advanced skills in critical thinking and data analytics using any method of data collections.
  • Familiar with Jaspersoft, JavaScript, Full Microsoft Suite, Temenos, Keystone, ODP/JMFA platform, NCR Digital Banking platform/support; Co-op Support Platform
  • Demonstrated experience in SQL, data mining and use of excel for providing analysis.
  • Must be professional in appearance, upbeat, energetic, dependable, take initiative and take pride in work.
  • Strong commitment to provide excellent customer service with a ‘whatever’ it takes attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates excellent phone rapport.
  • Handle multiple commitments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Consistently works well with others in support of departmental and organizational goals and member needs.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to overcome member objections.
  • Strong analytical and product management skills.
  • Working knowledge of the UAT life cycle.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Possess strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.
  • Strong research and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to build a performing loan application.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Working knowledge of money and banking concepts
  • Proficient in use of relationship building and referral techniques.
  • Knowledge of fraud prevention and detection procedures as well as internal control and risk mitigation techniques.
  • Knowledge of local, state and federal laws/regulatory requirements as related to functional areas including Truth in Lending, Reg B, Reg Z and Bank Secrecy Act.
  • Working knowledge of LLM / GPT models
  • Ability to work various hours based on business needs, including Saturdays and evenings.

Salary: $58,600 – $73,300
