Job Summary

Greater Pittsburgh Police Federal Credit Union is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Loan Processor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering, reviewing, and verifying loan application documents to ensure accuracy and completeness while providing exceptional customer service throughout the loan process.

Responsibilities

• Review and process loan applications from submission through closing.
• Collect, verify, and organize required borrower documentation.
• Communicate with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, and third parties to obtain necessary information.
• Ensure loan files comply with company policies and lending regulations.
• Monitor loan pipeline and meet established deadlines.
• Resolve document discrepancies and follow up on outstanding conditions.
• Maintain accurate records and provide regular status updates to all parties involved.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in consumer lending, banking, or loan processing preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficiency with loan origination systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of lending regulations and underwriting guidelines is a plus.
