2021 IRA Workshops

The IRS made some major changes to Individual Retirement Arrangements in 2020.  Join your credit union peers for a two day IRA Workshop to brush up on the basics and learn about all the changes.  This workshop is also an excellent introduction for those new to working with IRAs. 

On Day 1 we will cover the fundamentals of Traditional, Roth and Coverdell IRAs to include:

• eligibility
• account opening and appropriate disclosures
• different types of contributions
• different types of distributions
• deceased IRA owners

On Day 2 we will dive into more advanced topics such as:

• excess contributions
• calculating income attributable (bring a calculator)
• calculating required minimum distributions
• trusts as beneficiaries
• beneficiary payment options
• sub accounts
• re-characterizations

Pricing: $199 per day for members. $249 per day for non-members
