Kate Deringer Sallie is the co-founder and principal of Pillar+Aught. She concentrates her practice in the areas of creditors’ rights, loan workouts, commercial lending transactions, and commercial bankruptcy. Kate represents financial institutions with respect to loan workouts, collection matters, lender liability actions, and as creditors in Chapter 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcy cases. Kate is a Penn State University Dickinson School of Law graduate and continues her involvement at her alma mater by serving as a practitioner instructor. She is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, Turnaround Management Association, and International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation, and is licensed to practice law in both Pennsylvania and Delaware.
Michael DuPont is a partner with the law firm of McKenna, DuPont, Stone & Washburne, P.C. He has over 35 years of experience as a litigation attorney and over 30 years serving as a partner, specializing in Federal and State regulatory compliance for Federal and State-chartered credit unions. Michael has brought knowledge in corporate law, personal injury law, contract law, employment law and real estate. Michael has worked with Federal and State regulatory agencies including, but not limited to, NCUA, OSHA the New Jersey Department of Banking and Economic Development Agency. Michael is also experienced in handling mergers, acquisitions, bankruptcies and foreclosures.
