August Financial Education Collaborative

Event Information

The Collaborative started as a Financial Reality Fair user group and has evolved to discuss other effective financial education tools and programs. The group consists of credit union employees who run Financial Reality Fairs and/or financial education programs and employees who are interested in starting something at their credit union.

For our August meeting, we are pleased to welcome the National Disability Institute as a special guest. Becky MacDicken, Director of Financial Empowerment, and Al Milioto, Communications and Accessibility Manager, will present best practices when making presentations to people with disabilities, including:

• Top financial topics and considerations for this audience
• General guidelines for creating accessible and impactful presentations
• Practical and inclusive communication strategies
