Choice One Community Credit Union Raises $1,000 with ‘Pink Wednesdays’ Initiative

Choice One Community Credit Union is delighted to announce a significant milestone achieved through its “Pink Wednesdays” initiative in October. The credit union successfully raised $1,000 to support The Cancer Wellness Center of Northeastern Pennsylvania (NEPA), demonstrating its commitment to making a positive impact on the local community during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The “Pink Wednesdays” initiative is a remarkable effort that encourages Choice One employees to participate in a charitable cause while having some fun. Throughout October, employees were allowed to dress down on Wednesdays by contributing just $3.00. All the proceeds collected were dedicated to supporting The Cancer Wellness Center of NEPA in their continued effort to help cancer clients and their loved ones in a welcoming, supportive, and relaxing environment.
