About the CU Action Fund
Credit unions have generously supported your Political Action Committees with personal checks for decades. Both our state and federal PACs require individual contributions.
Many credit union leaders have asked, “Is there a way my credit union, or the companies I do business with, can help contribute to credit union advocacy?” Well, now the answer is yes.
The CrossState Credit Union Action Fund was established to allow any interested party to support CrossState’s advocacy efforts through corporate dollars. Money raised by the Action Fund will be used to support credit union issues in the legislative and regulatory arenas, engage in grassroots and issue advocacy, and elevate credit unions profile in the political spectrum.
In addition, money donated to the Action Fund will complement the money raised by the Association’s PAC, which provides direct support to elected officials and candidates that support the good work of credit unions.
Why Credit Unions Support the CU Action Fund
“The chapters are a useful advocacy tool to connect credit unions with elected officials and policy makers. The collective investment of the NEPA Chapter to the CU Action Fund will provide credit unions additional resources to raise awareness and advance credit unions legislative and regulatory priorities.”
-Jeff DeBree, President of NEPA Chapter of Credit Unions
“Freedom Credit Union financially supports the CU Action Fund because it provides credit unions another platform to enhance credit union’s federal and state advocacy efforts. I encourage credit unions to join Freedom by investing in the fund so we can collectively build upon our political capital, protect credit union interests, and reinforce the credit union difference.”
-John King, CEO of Freedom Credit Union
