CrossState’s advocacy efforts shape the future and preserve the health of the movement by mobilizing credit unions. Our team actively engages legislators and regulators on both the state and federal levels on issues that impact operations and member service. We deploy our team of experts across Washington, DC; Trenton, NJ; and Harrisburg, PA, on legislative and regulatory matters that impact credit unions on a number of levels, from the day to day to long-term activism.
Government Relations
It is critical that members of Congress, as well as New Jersey and Pennsylvania state legislators, know about the credit union difference. Our Government Relations team smonitors and tracks legislation that impacts credit unions’ daily operations and maintains key contacts to match credit union activists with their state and federal lawmakers. CrossState advocates for credit unions on legislative issues in Washington, DC; Trenton, NJ; and Harrisburg, PA.
Regulatory Advocacy
CrossState provides regulatory advocacy for New Jersey and Pennsylvania credit unions before the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance, the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities, and other administrative agencies that adopt rules and regulations impacting credit union operations as well as the products and services they offer.
