Memorial Scholarships for Professional Development 

The CrossState Memorial scholarships were established to perpetuate the memory of past Association Boards of Directors. Memorial Scholarships are awarded annually to deserving credit union professionals of a member credit union who wish to attend CrossState events.

CrossState Leadership School  Memorial Scholarships  

Established in 1972 to perpetuate the memory of all past Association Boards of Directors, 11 various scholarships are awarded annually to deserving credit union professionals of a member credit union who wish to attend  CrossState Leadership School. 

The scholarship includes tuition and lodging and must be used to attend the school in the year in which it is awarded.

Josephine Sakovics Memorial Scholarship 

Honoring Josephine Sakovics for her dedication and commitment to the credit union movement, volunteers and management professionals are encouraged to apply for the Sakovics Memorial Scholarship to attend the CrossState Annual Convention.   

The scholarship includes three nights lodging and conference registration.

William M. Noble Memorial Scholarship 

Honoring William Noble for pioneering credit union education, credit union professionals are encouraged to apply for the William M. Noble Scholarship to attend the Fall Leadership Conference*. 

The scholarship includes lodging and conference registration.

Paul E. Kanjorski Young Professionals Advocacy Scholarship   

Honoring Congressman Paul Kanjorski, who supported many legislative efforts on behalf of credit unions, the Kanjorski Young Professionals Advocacy Scholarship is designed to send one young professional or volunteer (18-40 years old) to the CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference in Washington D.C.
