The support from our credit unions and partner network in New Jersey and Pennsylvania is the bedrock of the funding for the Foundation. This support is a visible endorsement of our credit unions and others to support the entire network. The campaign kicks off during Financial Literacy Month in April and we hope all credit unions and partners will consider making a donation to show full support of People Helping People in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Individual, Credit Union, Company and Vendor Contribution
Donate
The Hope in Action program allows you to recognize an employee or Board member who is making a difference at your credit union or in your community. Donations can be of any size, and the honoree will receive a special card to proudly display. All funds raised will directly support credit union education and community programs.
In addition, there is a special “Hope in Action Legend” designation reserved for donations of $1,000 or more, given in either a single gift or multiple gifts for one person. Legends will receive a special framed card, be recognized in our CrossState Daily newsletter, and earn a listing on the Hope in Acton web page.

Through credit unions’ impact investing, the Community Investment Fund (CIF) has generated millions of dollars to fund and support local and national financial literacy, development and scholarship initiatives. Started in 1999, the CIF was designed to leverage the interdependence of the credit union system for the greater good. It provides credit unions the opportunity to donate a portion of the dividends earned on certain investments to the National Credit Union Foundation and state credit union foundations, including the CrossState Credit Union Foundation. When you invest in CIF, your credit union, the Foundation, and the National Credit Union Foundation each receive a portion of CIF earnings.
A Charitable Donation Account provides expanded investment powers to help fund the charitable giving of credit unions. The CDA’s total value cannot exceed 5% of the credit union’s net worth.
