Credit Union Hosts Congressman GT Thompson
Yesterday, Patrick Conway, CrossState President & CEO, joined Mike Thomas, President & CEO, and Karen Wood, Chief Experience Officer, of Service 1st FCU for a meet and greet with Congressman GT Thompson.
As Chairman of the House Committee on Agriculture and a senior member of the Education & Workforce Committee, the Congressman is in a unique position to bring his expertise and knowledge on the issues facing rural businesses, communities, and families to improve the lives of the citizens of the 15th District.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the group to connect with the Congressman and outline a few legislative priorities, including interchange caps, and junk fees. The Congressman also updated the group on the district, constituent needs, and how credit unions can be helpful.
