CrossState Connects Credit Unions with Key House Tax Leaders Fitzpatrick & Kelly

Credit union leaders met with Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA) at Inspire Federal Credit Union in Newton, PA, and with Congressman Mike Kelly (R-PA) at Erie Federal Credit Union in Erie, PA, on April 25. These meetings provided an important opportunity to discuss local priorities, national issues, and key legislative efforts impacting credit unions.
Rep. Kelly, who chairs the House Ways and Means Tax Subcommittee, and Rep. Fitzpatrick engaged with attendees on a range of topics, including the ongoing work of the House Ways and Means Committee to draft a new budget reconciliation bill, broader tax reform efforts in Congress, and the importance of protecting credit unions’ federal tax-exempt status.
