Find Your Community in a CrossState Peer Group

In the credit union movement, the notion that we are stronger together is not just an afterthought to business. It’s a core value that drives every decision and interaction with peers, even those who would be considered competition in other industries. This is the “the collaborative spirit” manifested, and it makes better leaders and helps deliver better products and services that members rely on.
CrossState Credit Union Association shares your collaborative spirit, and we’re continually seeking new ways to help facilitate it. That’s why we’re expanding our Peer Group offerings in 2026 to include six total communities. Held quarterly, these virtual sessions provide professionals in specific focuses a forum to engage one another and hear from subject-matter experts about updates and strategies that could impact credit unions.
March featured the first meeting for each Peer Group this year, and we are excited about the connections and innovation already sparking as a result. We can’t wait to see the incredible conversations that happen in the months ahead!
IT Peer Group
For information technology professionals looking to dive into topics such as:
- Emerging platforms, especially AI
- Cybersecurity
- Regulatory trends and risk management
HR Peer Group
For human resources professionals looking to dive into topics such as:
- Addressing workforce trends
- Developing internal talent
- Retaining staff
- Adapting to shifting workplace needs
Business Development Peer Group
For business development professionals looking to dive into topics such as:
- Growth strategies
- Portfolio management
- Establishing the right metrics
- Using data to drive decisions
Marketing & Communications Peer Group
For professionals in marketing and communications looking to dive into topics such as:
- Driving engagement
- Managing priorities with limited resources
- Identifying and adjusting to trends
- Using social media effectively
Small CU Collaborative
Credit unions with less than $50 million in assets can often face unique challenges that require creative solutions. This group is for managers and CEOs seeking an opportunity to connect with fellow colleagues and share insights into navigating each.
Financial Education Collaborative
Run by the CrossState Credit Union Foundation, this group is for professionals who hold Financial Reality Fairs and/or financial education programs along with those who are interested in starting something at their credit union.
