Full-Time Member Service Representative/Teller — United Community FCU

United Community FCU is looking for a credit union MSR/Teller to process all transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policies and procedures. We have positions open in our Wilmerding, PA branch. The successful candidate will be the “frontline” of our credit union and will play a fundamental role in achieving member satisfaction.

MSR/Teller Responsibilities: Include, but not limited to:

  • Conduct routine credit union transactions (cash checks, accept deposits and loan payments, process withdrawals, etc.)
  • Balance drawer daily, including periodic batching of cashed checks.
  • Assess customer needs and introduce new products and services.
  • Go the “extra mile” to build trust relationships, member loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage risk in every transaction and detect fraudulent transactions to prevent losses.
  • Resolve customers’ issues and provide relevant information.

Qualifications/Skills

  • Proven working experience in the financial service industry.
  • Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (e.g. cash drawers, scanners, and money counters)
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Customer satisfaction-oriented
  • Attention to detail and mathematical skills
