Senior Director of Lending and Marketing – Princeton FCU

Princeton Federal Credit Union is seeking a Senior Director of Lending and Marketing

Position Summary:

Reporting to the CEO, the Senior Director of Lending and Marketing is responsible for mortgage and consumer lending, including collection efforts, marketing and business development. As a member of the senior leadership team, the Senior Director of Lending and Marketing will assist in the strategic planning process and helping to achieve the Credit Union’s long and short-term goals and objectives and maintaining the organization’s financial health and stability. The Senior Director of Lending and Marketing will establish team building strategies to unite all departments and employees to work towards the vision of the Credit Union and build a caring culture.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Support the corporate mission and consistently demonstrate the Credit Union’s core values of Great People, Integrity, Service Mindset and Team work as described in our Core Values Statement.
2. Ensure that mortgage and consumer lending operations, including collections, marketing and business development are in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations set forth by the National Credit Union Administration and other regulatory agencies.
3. Oversee the operation of the lending, marketing and business development functions. Develop, implement and maintain programs that maximize efficiency and quality in the workplace and provide consistent quality service to members.
4. Prepare monthly reports on assigned areas of responsibility as requested by the President/CEO.
5. Serve on the Asset Liability Committee.
6. Evaluate loan exceptions with the CEO, CFO or Director of Lending and participate in discussions and decisions regarding problem loans and OREO.
7. Complete special projects as assigned by the CEO and/or in accordance with the Strategic Plan.
8. Establish and maintain policies and procedures for assigned areas of responsibility.
9. Responsible for managing the Lending Manager, Marketing and Business Development Specialist including scheduling, training, coaching, counseling and performance evaluations.
10. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, co-workers and employees.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to lead change and to transform and build an enhanced sales culture that includes coaching, training, and achievement of desired results while attracting new membership through business channels.
• Bachelor’s degree or achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor’s degree and eight to ten years’ related experience within the financial services industry, including the management of high-performing teams. 
• Exceptional verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
