Lending Specialist – ACE Federal Credit Union

Duties & Responsibilities

• Gather background information on loan applicants by interviewing as needed and obtaining credit bureau reports. Handle loans of highest complexity, value, or risk.
• Assist members with the loan application process to ensure completeness of information.
• Answer questions for members throughout the process. Explain the process to include loan options, insurance options, loan policies, interest rates, payoffs, NADA values, etc.
• Pull credit reports for all accounts, verify debts, estimate monthly payments for any outstanding debts not listed and add them to debts on applications.
• Calculate debt-to-income ratios on loan applicants and calculate how much loan applicant’s debt is secure or unsecured. Verify employment as needed.
• Make phone calls to members notifying them of loan decision. 
• Verify the accuracy of loan amounts and repayment terms on approved loan applications.
• Submit loans for approval to the loan officer or Credit Committee as needed.
• Complete loan documents and disburse loans when approved.
• Assist with mailing of adverse action notices.
• Cross-selling lending and other credit union products.

Salary range: $40,000–$62,000
